LCJP Volunteers & Staff Participate in Juneteenth Freedom Day Seminar, June 19-21

LCJP Staff Kathleen and Jessica, along with LCJP Volunteers Maggie, Genevieve, and Pattie, participated in a powerful event in Longmont honoring Juneteenth and peaceful race reconciliation work. Participants engaged with activities to practice Non-Violent Communication, Embodied Activism, and exploring identity and shared human truths through story-telling.

We are so grateful and proud of LCJP Volunteer Erica Lee who facilitated this powerful event. We will continue to invite and encourage LCJP volunteers and community stakeholders to get involved with Erica and her programming at The Sustainability House.
