Have you Ever Wondered "Why Do We Fall?"
When they learned that I work for LCJP, a community member shared that their child had been through the program years ago. While the child did not complete their contract, the lasting impacts that the experience had on the responsible party and his family were memorable. The parent shared that the restorative justice process provided an opportunity for the child to look at the path they were going down and make a decision to change that path, resulting in the child's avoiding reoffense. The parent reflected that participating in the conference also encouraged their family to re-examine how they communicated and addressed conflict at home. || [Artwork by a responsible youth referred to LCJP who caused harm to a family member]
